Today, declare that you will not live with another day of “if”. You will no longer attempt to activate your life from the place of “if”. Oftentimes, “what if” will leave us in a place of uncertainty. As believers, even if we have a moment there, we are obligated not to live there.

Mark 9:14-28 (MSG) There Are No Ifs
14-16When they came back down the mountain to the other disciples, they saw a huge crowd around them, and the religion scholars cross-examining them. As soon as the people in the crowd saw Jesus, admiring excitement stirred them. They ran and greeted him. He asked, “What’s going on? What’s all the commotion?”
17-18A man out of the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought my mute son, made speechless by a demon, to you. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and goes stiff as a board. I told your disciples, hoping they could deliver him, but they couldn’t.”
19-20Jesus said, “What a generation! No sense of God! How many times do I have to go over these things? How much longer do I have to put up with this? Bring the boy here.” They brought him. When the demon saw Jesus, it threw the boy into a seizure, causing him to writhe on the ground and foam at the mouth.
21-22He asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been going on?”
“Ever since he was a little boy. Many times it pitches him into fire or the river to do away with him. If you can do anything, do it. Have a heart and help us!”
23Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.”
24No sooner were the words out of his mouth than the father cried, “Then I believe. Help me with my doubts!”
25-27Seeing that the crowd was forming fast, Jesus gave the vile spirit its marching orders: “Dumb and deaf spirit, I command you—Out of him, and stay out!” Screaming, and with much thrashing about, it left. The boy was pale as a corpse, so people started saying, “He’s dead.” But Jesus, taking his hand, raised him. The boy stood up.
28After arriving back home, his disciples cornered Jesus and asked, “Why couldn’t we throw the demon out?”

Jesus begins to ask what appears to be a rhetorical question concerning the commotion as if He wasn’t already aware in His divinity. The crowd earnestly responded and Jesus heard the cry of a concerned father just trying to get help for his son. Have you ever told your perceived problem to someone because you thought they were qualified? They were connected to the right person who may have been unavailable during your crisis. They looked the part. They were able to mimic the sound. However, because the disciples hung with Jesus and maybe even looked like Him; that did not mean they had what He had. Today, you receive the right help!
Please understand that before you see a solution, it may seem like things go crazy! Jesus told the father to bring the boy to him and what happens? The spirit there within causes the boy to go into seizures right in front of The Solution. Don’t judge your season by what seems to be out of order. Trust the fact that The Solution is still The Answer! Jesus asked another rhetorical question and the father answered, IF you can do something, please have a heart, help, do something! Jesus wasn’t in place trying to figure it out. He wasn’t there because He didn’t know what to do. He was there because He can! He responded that’s not how believers roll. We don’t do “ifs”. The father then gave the correct answer: I believe and where I don’t, HELP ME! Sometimes, you must believe you can walk on water even though it’s water. In this season, have the mentality of a waterwalker because you trust in The Waterwalker.

If deals with stipulations, belief systems, and requirements. Jesus deals with your faith only! One definition of possible is maybe based on potential. It involves the constant feeling of perhaps and uncertainty. More than anything, at this moment, we need clarity. I am not looking for religion, I am searching for my mountain! Look for a place to go up! I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth! Declare right now, I am not looking for potential. I am unlocking possibilities!
